I have a suggestion for Draft and Sealed Deck: would you please add either "block" or "set" to the choices in the selection window - it appears that some are sets and some are blocks and it would be helpful to have the difference explicitly stated. :)

Is there a way to turn foil off? I think that it makes the game slower...

never mind saw the option on the main page.

I have a question about the draft mode. During the drafting process for the ZEN block the images from ZEN and WWK are used. But then when I go to the deck editor it uses images from M11 and COM (for the cards that are available in those sets). Is there a way for me to get it to only show images from the correct sets for that block (in this case only images for ZEN WWK)?

T-Rez, that should be what happens... I know it used to work that way....

I always have nothing but "Kudos" for each new version, and this one isn't any different. I loved it when you added the progress bar for loading the deck editor (it assures me that I actually pressed it) and I like the progress bar that loads the game now. I've always loved Quest Mode best, and having more cards in the shop gives Forge that advantage that I saw in Wagic and always wished I could see in Forge.

The new version is fun and looks impressive. Great job, guys.

i love it, too! we have Rob Cashwalker to thank for that.
Starcrash wrote:. . . and I like the progress bar that loads the game now.
thanks! i made that happen with the help of Rob's code. it only covers one portion of loading the game which is loading the card database. there is more to the game startup, but i don't know yet when or how to measure those. sorry, but that's not a priority for me at all.

it's not the sort of thing i would typically do given my main role on the project, but i was having related problems, and needed to see for myself that forge hadn't frozen up! so my irritation is everyone's gain.

are you actually able to see the ETA text inside the startup progress bar, or does it go by too fast? is it wildly inaccurate?
"That is the dumbest thing I've ever seen." --Rob Cashwalker, regarding Innistrad double-sided cards. One of the first times he and I have ever agreed on something. ;)

I launched the Mac beta version and saw the ETA, I think that it started at either 10 or 9 second. The progress bar finished the count down in maybe 2 or 3 seconds.

Some of the observations that I have made in the last couple of days lead me to believe that there may be a difference starting from Eclipse and from a launcher. Eclipse may be adding in some sort of overhead.

LOL. Necessity is the mother of invention.

It's fast, but not so fast that I can't see what it's loading (subliminally, maybe?)

I cant activate the ability of the Shadow Lance .
It gives (in this game, too), an error, because the computer tries to block my 2/4 Escaped Null (the one who is enchanted with the lance, too) with Sunweb. He cant block it, cause the power if my escaped null is 2, but it doesnt stop trying ^^

My problem is that I have the Vesuvan Doppelganger in my hand and 90% of the time when i click it from my hand nothing happens it wont attempt to cast. I might as well click on a blank spot on the screen...I have the required mana and I try it on either of my main phases and it (almost) never does anything. Is there some hidden prerequisite that i am missing?

Ah. I see what the issue is. We're working on overhauling the Aura system and it looks like Auras with Activated Abilities are getting nuked. I'll get a more short term fix in, since I don't think the new Aura system will be quite ready for the next beta.

Cloudelemental got +3/+3 through Briarhorn
Now, it had been cahmpioned by Nova Chaser, and after it came back, it still was a 5/6 creature!
