Whenever I cast miracle cast Entreat the Angels the game crashes, has happened three times consistently and I have the appropriate mana to cast it. I tried to lodge a appropriate bug report but a error occurred preventing me from doing so, could have been user error, hehe. I'll acquire the bug report if that is of use.
Is there anything I can do to work around this bug? It's pretty game breaking for me, since I'm wanting to test a bunch of decks atm where that card is crucial to.
btw, Forge is awesome, thanks for the great game

Yes, this has been widely reported and fixed. If you want immediate resolution (i.e. you are too impatient to wait for the next beta release), you can download the latest snapshot build (these are less likely to be stable, but do have recent fixes) http://cardforge.org/releases/snapshots ... 17.tar.bz2omnimirage wrote:Whenever I cast miracle cast Entreat the Angels the game crashes, has happened three times consistently and I have the appropriate mana to cast it.

Thank you for the quick reply.
I've tried to contact cardforge for awhile now, but I keep getting a DNS error; anything I can do to work around this?

Another observation related to the game forgetting who owns/controls a creature:
Scenario: I have an Ophidian in play. The AI has Old Man of the Sea. The AI uses it to steal my Ophidian.
I cast Control Magic on the Old Man of the Sea. The AI retains control of my Ophidian. (This is actually the correct behavior, as per ruling 10/1/2009.)
I untap the Old Man of the Sea. The AI still retains control of my Ophidian.
Finally, I cast a Nekrataal and kill the Old Man of the Sea (that I still control). The AI still retains control of my Ophidian!
The last two are very much not how Old Man of the Sea is supposed to work. (It would be an insanely powerful card if it allowed you to permanently steal the opponent's creatures.)

I have checked this and the error is reproducible.muppet wrote:ok this might be hard to find. If you play a mana elf say Llanowar Elves and on the turn it comes into play you tap it with a Birchlore Rangers or Heritage Druid, on subsequent turns you cannot tap the elf for mana normally.
Hope that makes sense and you can reproduce it.

There's another program that handles these files. You'll get a very mild nag screen after about a month and a half, but you can click past that. The program is WinRAR, and it is very easy to use. Just bing search it.Johnmwarner wrote:Looking for a little help? Is this the whole program, or do I need a base somewhere too? Looking forward to playing this, just not sure how to get started with the download. I've never used that 7zip program before so I need a little help with that too if it's the only way to unzip this.

Neither Cephalid Constable nor Mistblade Shinobi 's triggered ability have any effect. This has been an issue since at least 1.3.4 for the Constable.

My opponent cast Animal Magnetism. The 5 revealed cards included 2 creatures, a Selesnya Guildmage and a Bringer of the Green Dawn, but when I had the opportunity to choose a creature card, only the Bringer was shown as an option. Is the AI choosing itself?

I had a crash - my opponent played Wrench Mind, I discarded Life from the Loam and Hero of Bladehold, at the beginning of my next turn the game crashed (probably it has to do sth with the dredge?).
Crashreport:
Edit:
The next time when discarding Life from the Loam the same crash report appeared again at the beginning of my upkeep.

The opponent doesn't get a token when I play Imperial Mask.
Edit: Sry, my mistake, I overread the word "teammates".

Please be more specific if you are reporting things. Tell us what happened, tell us what you think should have happened, tell us why you think that should have happened.Symphonic wrote:The opponent doesn't get a token when I play Imperial Mask.

Forge appears to be broken...
It's crashing for no apparent reasons: Ultimate Price, Liliana of the Veil, etc.
All of them have an error message stating "null error", whatever that is.
Also, I already stated this, but I want to reiterate: Evoke, Morph, Multikicker (tried to cast Marshal's Anthem, nothing happened), Miracle. All of these are at least partly broken (Everflowing Chalice works, for some reason).
I understand Forge is usermade, some instability is to be expected, but something's wrong when the software can't even tell WHAT made it crash...

The opponents are NOT supposed to get token copies of Imperial Mask. BTW, HOW was that implemented in Forge?Symphonic wrote:The opponent doesn't get a token when I play Imperial Mask.

This was just one release that had one bug introduced that affected a wide array of keywords. The next release is coming very soon, and fixes the Evoke/Morph/Miracle/Dredge/etc issue.ChaossssMark wrote:Also, I already stated this, but I want to reiterate: Evoke, Morph, Multikicker (tried to cast Marshal's Anthem, nothing happened), Miracle. You seem to be confused. What you are calling a "null error" is accessing a variable that should exist but doesn't. That is exactly what made it crash.ChaossssMark wrote:I understand Forge is usermade, some instability is to be expected, but something's wrong when the software can't even tell WHAT made it crash...
