Pretty sure Seance is already in there. Seems like I remember making a deck with it.

Wow, now I feel like a total idiot
! In my defense, accent marks play such a huge part of my native language, I never actually thought of searching without the acute accent
...
Anyhow, thanks for the quick reply, guys! Looking forward to the new developments to the program and I wish everyone a great 2013!

Is Gaea's Touch doable? My mono-green storm combo deck just doesn't work right without it.

The main issue with Gaea's Touch is this:AndyTron wrote:Is Gaea's Touch doable? My mono-green storm combo deck just doesn't work right without it.
10/1/2009: If you play a basic Forest during your turn, you must declare whether you're using your standard land play or Gaea's Touch's first ability to do so.
I'm sure someone can stitch together a Half-Implemented cards by pasting Havenwood Battleground sac ability onto an Exploration. (That someone could be you if you absolutely need it)

Exploration actually has a similar ruling.
10/4/2004: You have to say when you put the land out that it is the one you get because of Exploration. If you put out a Forest while Exploration is in on the battlefield, then Exploration leaves the battlefield (by being destroyed or something), you can't put out another Forest claiming that the first one was due to Exploration unless you said so when you played that Forest.
Is the problem because of Gaea's Touch needing a basic forest? And if not would it be doable? And after you sac Gaea's Touch for mana, if you can get it out of the graveyard during the same turn and play it again, will Forge count it as a separate object and allow you to get another land drop out of it?
One of the key synergies in the deck is to use Rofellos's Gift multiple times during the combo turn and play out all of your lands.
Either way, thanks for your suggestion and response. I'll see if I can make a half-implemented version.

Yea the issue is that it needs a basic forest, the structure for the "Can play additional lands" isn't very robust, so does handle simple ones like Exploration, but can't do anything more complicated than that. I'm not sure about the interactions with the card that grants leaving and reentering the battlefield. The system may be too simple to handle that situation.AndyTron wrote:Is the problem because of Gaea's Touch needing a basic forest? And if not would it be doable? Okay, the part about the basic forest makes sense. I'll try making a half-implemented card.
Yeah, the rules of Magic treat a card as a new object every time it changes zones. I think I remember Forge having some trouble with this in the past.
Anyway, thanks again for your help.

I'd like to request Spike Cannibal if it isn't too hard

First of all, let me say...I LOVE Forge. The wife and I both use it almost daily for quick and dirty playtesting. I also appreciate that the Deck Importer works so seamlessly. It's really easy to throw together a deck in Decked Builder, email it to myself, and paste it into Forge.
My request (really more of a question, because I'm not going to ask for them if there was no intention already,) is there any plan to start implementing the spoiled Gatecrash cards prior to release? I've started mentally brewing already, and Forge is about a billion times easier than making proxies.
If not, then keep up the great work, and I look forward to what you guys keep bringing us.

Glad you like it!
We have already begun implementing Gatecrash in order to try and have the entire set implemented in a beta released as soon as possible. We don't usually release before Wizards release, though if you're a bit java-savvy you can get at the wip code from our svn and build a version with the Gatecrash cards, though without pictures.

So now you're
Screaming for the blood of the cookie monster
Evil puppet demon of obesity
Time to change the tune of his fearful ballad
C is for "Lettuce," that's good enough for me
