I used Political Trickery to swap for a land enchanted with Squirrel Nest ; however, when I then tapped that land, the computer got the token.
Mad Auntie can target itself for regeneration.
If Warren Instigator is blocked and it kills the blocking creature with its first strike damage, you can then after the regular combat damage step put a goblin from your hand onto the battlefield as though it had trample (even though no damage was assigned to the defending player).
I cast Peel from Reality, targeting my Plant Wall in the quest mode. The Plant Wall actually ended up in my hand (tapped, even).

I cast Belbe's Portal, with "soldier" as its creature type. It won't let me use the card to cast Dauthi Slayer even though it's a soldier. The card says "dauthi soldier", but seems like it should work.
I can't cast Twiddle on opponent's turn. <- Never mind! The picture is swapped with Water Elemental - seems the 4th edition HQ pictures had these swapped, too!
Edit: Erratic explosion - it tells me how much damage was done, but it would be good to know what cards were revealed in some way.

I tried this kind of thing with cards like Shared Triumph, and I think the choice is case-sensitive: only 'Soldier' produces the behaviour expected.Xitax wrote:I cast Belbe's Portal, with "soldier" as its creature type. The in-game note for Erratic Explosion reads:Xitax wrote:Erratic explosion - it tells me how much damage was done, but it would be good to know what cards were revealed in some way.
There are a few others that are also subtle and don't explicitly announce "NOTE: Unimplemented" at the beginning.A programmer (at least he's honest) wrote:The computer will randomly choose a nonland card from your library.
(By the way, spending eight mana for Belbe's Portal to slap down a two-drop?!

The Great Wall of Bugs. Gando, you will not be forgotten.
And a chip off the old block.

LOL. I wondered if anyone would notice!Xitax wrote:(By the way, spending eight mana for Belbe's Portal to slap down a two-drop?!)
I happened to have one swamp in play, and something like 6 or 7 mountains... and nothing else in hand to play ... Heh.

Ah, I think Belbe's Portal is case sensitive... try "Soldier" instead, like freestorageaccount said
Well, at least using the portal will make sure that Dauthi Slayer won't get countered.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.
Another bug somewhere: I have a Mass of Ghouls enchanted with Fear, but AI decides it is ok to block with Gerrard's Irregulars, and in the next turn an Eldrazi Spawn.

I'd like to add that Festering Wound is slightly more potent in Forge: here both the additional counter and the damage from existing counters are processed during the upkeep of the creature's controller, with the former being pushed on the stack after the latter, so each damage occurs one turn earlier. For a rules-unfaithful but quick fix in nine out of ten cases, you can reverse the order of the triggers rather than move one of those triggers to the upkeep of Festering Wound.'s controller.

Not 100% sure with this bug but i believe i received the "Alternative win bonus" from milling twice in the fantasy quest mode, even though i only milled the computer on the first round.

I had in play a Wall of Reverence and a Commander Eesha, but at the end of my turn, the only creature the game let me to asign for the wall effect was itself.
EDIT: The Commander Eesha was tapped because I used it to attack. After, I playes other two cards and the wall let me use they because they wasn't tapped.
EDIT2: I played a Serra's Blessing, so the Commander Eesha wasn't tapped at the end of turn, but I couldn't asign it for the wall effect. I think it's because the protection against creatures the commander has.

Yeah, what you say in EDIT2 happens, and it's actually correct rules-wise: Wall of Reverence cannot target Commander Eesha because it has protection from creatures.Caranthol wrote:I had in play a Wall of Reverence and a Commander Eesha, but at the end of my turn, the only creature the game let me to asign for the wall effect was itself.

I attacked with my 2/2 Wolf token with flanking and the AI blocked with its Shield Sphere and at the end of the combat step, it didn't get a -0 -1 counter

I noticed the same thing last week. I found the section of code that gives the Shield Sphere the -0/-1 counter ... the code looks OK, I made a few test changes and nothing seemed to make a difference.

Hmm, yeah I made some changes in the combat code, to fix the problems with First strike and Flanking. Anyway, this changed the timing a bit, so the code block for Shield Sphere (and other things) didn't get executed at all. I've just fixed that on the SVN (hopefully without breaking other stuff).

This is also correct, since Pyrohemia doesn't target.
