Ok, on a positive note, I fixed the first issue (the LTB trigger interaction), now Volrath's Shapeshifter should work correctly with Undying, Persist and friends.
Will look into ordering graveyards next, as well as test the first fix a bit more (it's a bit invasive, so I might have broken something else about Volrath's Shapeshifter accidentally, though I hope not)
Btw, which other cards in Forge care about the order of stuff in the graveyard?

Most likely it's controlled by the file window.xml in the "preferences" folder of your Forge profile. It's most likely possible to reset them from the game (by going to Preferences and choosing "Reset to Default Settings"). But if that doesn't help or if if you can't see this option because it's outside the visible area, try renaming or removing the file window.xml and seeing if that helps.dingbat1 wrote:I noticed a (very minor) issue when I started forge up. The window is now significantly larger than my screen, and I can't seem to find the setting to make it smaller (ideally full screen). Can someone please help me find the size options?
I probably haven't opened forge since version 1.6.1 or 1.6.0, so it might not be the latest edition to make the change.
Thank you

Hello. Since the Mac OS version is currently not being distributed right now, is there any old, outdated version I could download? It's just to play with a friend. If so, could you provide the link? Thank you, sorry for my English and sorry if I'm not posting this in the right thread.

If you'd like an actual Mac .app package, we're probably going to be talking about a version that is at least several (two or three, possibly more?) years old or so. There is really no reason to play such an old version. It is possible to launch the unified package provided in this thread on a Mac, though you may need to take an extra step or two to do so (not sure about the particular details, but I'll ask a friend of mine who is successfully playing the current Forge on a Mac without the .app package).frankyXII wrote:Hello. Thank you so much. I don't have a Mac so I'm not familiar with its OS, and I also got the idea that it was possible to run this as it is on a Mac, but my friend says he can't open it. I will check again with my friend. If you'd like an actual Mac .app package, we're probably going to be talking about a version that is at least several (two or three, possibly more?) years old or so. There is actually quite a lot of cards, which care about this kind of stuff.Agetian wrote:Btw, which other cards in Forge care about the order of stuff in the graveyard?
But not surprisingly all of them are from Weatherlight Cycle.
I fully understand, why WotC decided to "ban" this mechanic afterwards.
Here is an exhaustive list: Volrath's Shapeshifter, Bosium Strip, Guiding Spirit, Barrow Ghoul, Circling Vultures, Phyrexian Grimoire, Zombie Scavengers, Shallow Grave, Spinning Darkness, Soldevi Digger, Nature's Kiss, Necratog, Mistmoon Griffin and Bone Dancer.
And from that list I think only Bosium Strip is not yet implemented in Forge. Though I am not sure, which part of its effect is the actual showstopper here, as all partial effects look like they were recycled (with just some slight modifications) also by later cards.

Ok, added an experimental option upstream that will allow to order cards going to graveyard when playing with cards that care about graveyard order. Kind of experimental and disabled by default, will need exhaustive testing before it's production quality, I guess.

Can you add a feature to let us play banned cards in commander(offline)? it could be a tickbox on options evenAgetian wrote:Ok, added an experimental option upstream that will allow to order cards going to graveyard when playing with cards that care about graveyard order. Not all, actually - don't forget Nether Shadow. Or Ashen Ghoul.Magicus wrote:There is actually quite a lot of cards, which care about this kind of stuff.

Graveyard ordering :
I suggest not including the option to have ordering active if enemy decks contain the cards - it provides information to the player about the contents of the enemy deck. It should be limited to own deck only.

This is actually an interesting question. I share your concerns, but I guess there will be unhappy people who would steal the opposing Volrath or whatever and then complain that they don't (or didn't) get a chance to order their graveyard. Not sure what the best approach would be though, I'm open to more opinions.Seravy wrote:Graveyard ordering :
