just noticed this but, the game thinks ray of command is threaten only an instant instead of a sorcery. This was kinda awkward when my deck with no mountains in it tried to cast what appeared to be a blue card. This should not be too hard to fix.

We'll get this fixed in the SVN, but in the meantime you can goto /res/cardsfolder/ and open up ray_of_command.txt24ivanthepoet wrote:just noticed this but, the game thinks ray of command is threaten only an instant instead of a sorcery. Replace the line that starts with A:SP$... with
- Code: Select all
A:SP$GainControl|Cost$3 U|ValidTgts$Creature.YouDontCtrl|TgtPrompt$Select target creature opponent controls.|LoseControl$EOT|Untap$True|AddKWs$Haste|TapOnLose$True|SpellDescription$Untap target creature an opponent controls and gain control of it until end of turn. That creature gains haste until end of turn. When you lose control of the creature, tap it.

Loading times have gotten so slow for me that it makes the game effectively unplayable, sometimes I have to wait up to 10 seconds just to see my opening hand.
I'm planning a reinstall sometime soon, but I know it's only half the problem, is there any way to make the program use less of a database once the game has begun? Anything that can speed up the computer's actions and load times.
Thanks again for all the hard work

Are you using HQ or LQ pics? HQ's have been slowing things down recently...

though I am sure this is far from a priority, bugs actually affecting game play should definitely be addressed before this, but, using the cheat function in quest mode causes forge to crash.

That's a memory leak from loading a list of every damn supported card into one listview, I'm not quite sure how to fix it. :/

I commented out the code which places the "Cheat - Add Card" menu command to the quest mode deck editor. There are other, safer and less buggy ways for people to cheat.

yeah, I thought it was weird that it was there to begin with. especially seeing that quest is easy enough to do well in without cheating. I just thought I'd let you guys know whenever I see something that does not work. Also, you guys rock for making this thing, much appreciated.

I've never been able to use the snow theme deck. When I select it from the list, forge just stops responding and I have to close it from the task manager.

I don't know if this has been posted before, so forgive me in that case.
With this version, there are lots of times that cards are not shown with their image. Instead, a text box appear.
For example, I'm attacking with Spawnrithe and the new card doesn't have the image. Another example is the time I had to return to my hand Sphere Shield and it lose the image in my hand.
Is there a fix yet?
Sorry for my English.

Rob has fixed alot of those problems (where cards would lose their setinfo and appear to have no image), so probably yes, it has been fixed and will be in the next beta.
