What's the naming convention for multiple cards with the same name? I'm trying to get "change picture" function in deck builder to work, but I must be naming the duplicates wrong.

What exactly do you mean?
Cards with multiple prints across many sets or cards with multiple prints in the same set?
Cards with multiple prints across many sets or cards with multiple prints in the same set?
The Force will be with you, Always.

For some reason wildfire and destructive force do not work if you have less than the required number of lands to sacrifice. If you resolve one of them, you are still asked to sacrifice a land even if you have no lands to sacrifice, and without any prompt to cancel.

What is the difference? The set name isn't part of the card picture filename.Rob Cashwalker wrote:What exactly do you mean?

Either way, I'd like to know if it's possible. Thanks!

The computer activated a metalcraft ability without having any artifacts.

It may be the case that it makes a count of my artifacts - it wouldn't activate the ability until I had 3 on the board.

Yep that's exactly right. This is fixed in the SVN.Typical Idiot wrote:It may be the case that it makes a count of my artifacts - it wouldn't activate the ability until I had 3 on the board.

Rogue Kavu didn't activate when it attacked me and was the only creature on the board.
Also, now Forge seems to work properly on my computer, so would anyone like me to build and test some computer-friendly decks to add to the program?
Edit: Angelic Benediciton's tap trigger doesn't work either, but exalted does.
And I'm not sure if this can be fixed, but the AI, when choosing a target for Skinrender chose it's own Dross Crocodile then reanimated it, even though I had an Arcbound Hybrid and Talas Merchant it could have killed.

Sloth and I spent several months last year adding new decks and revising existing quest decks. We had a lot of fun. He and I are fairly busy at this time helping Sol with the new Ability Factory project and it will likely preoccupy the core dev team for the time being.
If you and/or other people would like to spend some time helping with the quest decks, it would be appreciated. Unfortunately, the core dev team will not be able to spend a lot of time overseeing your efforts.
I would suggest that anyone who is interested should initially assist Lazylockie in the fetchlands project. A link to that topic is located below.
There are several topics located in the Forge Decks Forum. These topics have info that may be useful in creating AI decks for quest mode. Feel free to read the messages in these topics.
The Quest decks revamp topic is worth reading. Lazylockie discovered that the AI can now use fetchlands. He added fetchlands to a number of the existing quest decks and he attached an archive for people.
Here are a few more topics that may be worthwhile reading:
Fully Tested AI Decks
Decks for the AI
Updating old AI decks
Quest Decks Discussions

Dread Reaper (I know, how often do you see this card in play, really?) has vigilance when it should not.
Escaped Null has it's pump ability either twice or listed twice.
Thief of Hope uses a strange menu to choose target opponent. Is it legal to choose myself? I appear in that menu (maybe it was simply the wrong menu, since it was titled "choose target player."
Clerics WB random deck theme causes a fault.

OK, thanks!
One more: Homer Simpson casts Animate Dead, targeting my Penumbra Wurm. It comes into play... on my side of the board. I can't really tell if the computer is controlling it; it may be the case, but it's not apparent. I cast a Wilt-Leaf Liege a turn later, and it didn't get +1/+1, so maybe Homer controls it. Next, I kill it with a Reprisal, and the computer gets a 6/6 Wurm token as it should.
Is there something you can do to put the animated card on the computer's side, possibly?
Edit: Later he animates my Loxodon Hierarch, but I get the life in error. Later, he neglects to block with it losing the game.

Apparently, all of these are fixed in the newest rev 6255 version on the SVN.

I'm pretty sure this was already reported for this version and it's already fixed. (Also I hate that damn card)Xitax wrote:Is there something you can do to put the animated card on the computer's side, possibly?

A couple of errors that I've noticed so far with this version (which has Clasp, so I'm happy now).
1) Myr tokens created by Myrsmith and Origin Spellbomb are not Artifact creatures, and ROW they should be, I believe. (This is not true of the tokens created by, say, Myr Matrix.)
2) Elemental tokens created by... oh dear, what's the card... Hoofprints of the Stag lack flying. (These two may point to a general issue with tokens.)
3) The computer apparently is allowed to counter any spell with almost any counterspell. For example, there was a counterspell that can only be used to counter a spell that targets creatures, and the AI used it (successfully) to counter a creature spell.
But this is awesome otherwise. =D
