Let me swing some theory at you:juzamjedi wrote:I see we have a pretty good number of downloads for the cube I posted. What do people think about it? Don't worry about beating up my ugly baby, I'm sure we could improve the cube list.
Blue in your cube is just too strong. This isn't strictly your fault, as the AI is responsible for passing the player ridiculous cards. Being able to get JTMS 6th pick, being able to table things like Consecrated Sphinx and Time Walk, as well as always being able to draft at least 1 brainstorm/ponder/preordain/mystical tutor/fact or fiction makes it feel as though you are being fed Blue every time. As much as I hate to say it, maybe the overall power level of Blue needs to be dropped. Possibly replace cards like JTMS and Consecrated Sphinx with less-splashable, more specific/combo-centric cards. For me, at least, this could lead to more decisions than just 'do I play Blue/Black or Blue/Red. Or Blue/Black/Red.'
Other than that, the cube is great and I'm glad to see it getting put into new versions.
