Try right-clicking on Forge.sh and make sure under Properties that it's set to executable. If you can choose a program to open it with, choose a text editor (Gedit, Kate, etc.).correioalternativo wrote:I tested all icons in the Forge folder, none of them worked.Symphonic wrote:I cannot say anything about Linux as I work on Windows, but try to doubleclick the application-file. Ubuntu updated to 15.04, but still nothing.
On my last system, which used a Gnome desktop environment, I always got asked whether to view or execute when I double-clicked Forge.sh. I just sent up a new one using KDE, and it automatically executes without asking.
If it still isn't working - exactly what happens, or what messages do you see, when you click on Forge.sh?

I ended the first game of a match by Mindslaver-ing my opponent and forcing her to Psionic Blast herself. Her hand remained visible to me throughout the second game (though I didn't have control over her actions).

I guess so. When I type apt-get install default-jre, terminal answers:friarsol wrote:Do you have a JRE? Or just a JDK?
default-jre is already the newest version.

With gedit Forge.sh is a text:Zirbert wrote:Try right-clicking on Forge.sh and make sure under Properties that it's set to executable. If you can choose a program to open it with, choose a text editor (Gedit, Kate, etc.).

#!/bin/sh
cd "`dirname \"$0\"`"
java -Xmx1024m -jar forge-gui-desktop-1.5.43-jar-with-dependencies.jar
Executable option is on. When I try to open with java, it is like clicking on empty space, nothing happens.

Hive Mind and Pact of Negation interaction is bugged, it has occurred a few times across 1.5.42 and 1.5.43.
When the opponent gets their Pact of Negation copy, they are not forced to choose any targets for it, and despite being first to resolve (its target cannot have already been countered), manages to fizzle.

Issue with Bitter Ordeal. The Gravestorm trigger seems to only count the cards that go to the grave rather than the number of permanents.
I had 17 cards in the grave (not even all from that turn) and after the Gravestorm trigger resolved there were 17 Ordeal's on the stack rather than the large number it should have been.

Hi guys,
First of all, congratulations on this great job. I am quite surprised to see such a collaborative high quality product out there. WotC couldnt do better!
As I am relatively new to MTG, I have been playing it for a while with the built in AI as I am trying to get familiar with Modern Archetypes. During those matches, I experimented some combo decks like "Splinter Twin" and got really bored having to repeat all the process of copying "Deceiver Exarch" and untapping it again and again in order to have enough creature tokens for the final rush. Is there a way to make this loop automatic? If not, is it too troublesome to implement it?

There isn't a way to do this automatically right now. I looked into this a while back, and it wasn't that easy to set up macros/loops. It might be a little bit easier to do these days. One thing I'd recommend to speed things up is auto passing priority for spell/abilities on the stack. Right click on the spell/ability you want (like the splinter twin activation) and say auto pass (or whatever the exact verbiage is). This should speed things up a bit, but obviously not as much as saying "repeat that loop X times"Bonaparte wrote:Is there a way to make this loop automatic? Thank you for the prompt reply friarsol! I will try your suggestion in forthcoming matches!

Download LQ Set Pictures = always missing 16 images to be downloaded
some reason for this?
another doubt see the version 1.5.43
contained 14927 cards in total.
but the option deck editor appears 14822
some reason for this? (2)

AI played Reversal of Fortune to copy my Reweave and cast it on my Jade Idol. The Reweave copy caused me to sacrifice the Jade Idol as expected, but then I did not get to reveal cards from my deck to find a replacement artifact.

If I cast Spirit Link on a creature and then attack with that creature, I do not gain life if I am blocked by a creature that has Persist that dies as a result of combat. The effect of Spirit Link goes to the Stack, but when it resolves, no life is gained. During the same game, Spirit Link worked fine against creatures that did not have Persist.

When you are in the deck editor not all cards are shown, "special" cards (planes, schemes, conspiracies, etc) are filtered out unless you are in the deck section that corresponds with them.Kiryu666 wrote:another doubt see the version 1.5.43

Yes, those 16 cards were from the "Sample decks" from the launch of Magic Origins :Kiryu666 wrote:Download LQ Set Pictures = always missing 16 images to be downloaded

I was playing Suppression Field against the Tap and Destroy deck.
After I played it on my turn, the AI activated the abilites of Stone Catapult, Steam Catapult and Royal Assassin on its upkeep without having to pay the extra 2 mana from Suppression Field.
There were no Training Grounds or anything like that on the battlefield.
