Does Crypt Ghasts's ability 'Whenever you tap a swamp for mana, add B to your mana ppol'. I notcied that even having a crypt ghast in play, creatures need to be summoned by their usual land cost

Did you check your mana pool for the extra [B]?

yes i did but there was no extra ability to my swamps

yep the card is definaetly bugged. The mana ability doesnt work, i have tried it out multiple times and yet my swamps still add just 'B' to the mana pool

I just ran a test and it appears to be working correctly.

I played four Swamps and then cast a Crypt Ghast. Next turn I choose to play the Crypt Ghast that I just drew.

I tapped a single Swamp. One mana was used to reduce the mana cost from 3 to just 3 colorless mana needed to finish paying the cost.

The second from the tapped Swamp can be found in the human's mana pool. Look at the red circle in the picture. Notice the one next to the black mana symbol. Now mouse click on the black mana symbol and this will pay the second from the tapped Swamp.
