Also, (looking at cards you requested like Mesmeric Orb, Traumatize, Glimpse the Unthinkable, ...) milling a deck in MTGForge isn't seen as a win or loss condition yet, the game will just keep on going.

Currently, cards with X in their casting cost are impossible, the dredge mechanic hasn't been implemented yet, and a few of those cards are pretty tricky (not sure if I can do them).
well.... with regards to MTG Forge being suitable..... i'm not seeing any alternatives.

if someone shows me the url for an up-to-date card list for FireMox, then i'd happily use it.

or if someone knows a browser-based program for playing... or a mac-based (or mac-usable) program for playing, with a full card list, then i'll be sure to give it a go. AI isn't necessary, but it's a bonus.

but;
- mindless automaton is too tricky to set up
- Firemox doesn't have any of the cards i want to use
- neither does MTG Forge at the moment
- the only browser-based java platform program for playing MTG that i've found.... just doesn't work. *shrug*

you can find it here, but it appears to be unexplainedly broken; http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?p=3822710

i'm getting a little tired of downloading programs that say they might work, and then spending hours agonising over moving data files around, reinstalling previous versions of software (like python) i have the current version of, trying to diagnose what's not working, downloading other programs to read weird formats, or solve problems, only for more to appear. it's getting irritating.

can anyone point me in the direction of some form of playable MTG interface that has a full card list, and that works for macs.

Check out Incantus, I'm pretty sure that runs on a Mac.

You should investigate running windows based applications on your Mac if you have a recent Mac with an Intel processor.

Hmm... I wonder, how hard would it be to implement untap abilities,e.g. Gilder Bairn?
I made Patrol Signaler and Order of Whiteclay, so yes other untap cards should be possible... I just haven't turned them into keywords yet. I have thought about implementing Gilder Bairn, by the way.
Err, what kind of problem could arise from implementing it? Does forge have problems with counters or something?
Also, would it be possible to make Spiny Starfish? Comboed with Veteran Armorer It's one of my favorite walls.

I am moving a message thread that originally started in the Current Known Bugs list forum to this forum.

You have cut and paste the URL since it uses brackets.
I found the following 13 cards. I believe that they can be added via keywords if we are able to make Bushido a keyword:

Araba Mothrider
Cursed Ronin
Devoted Retainer
Inner-Chamber Guard
Kitsune Blademaster
Konda, Lord of Eiganjo
Kuro's Taken
Mothrider Samurai
Nezumi Ronin
Ronin Cavekeeper
Ronin Houndmaster
Samurai Enforcers
Silverstorm Samurai

I assume that the Bushido keyword would look like this:

Bushido:{mangitude}

Now that we have Goblin Lackey, can we have others that do stuff when they damage the opponent?
I was thinking... ninja's! 8) Hey! ninja's are cool! Besides, some of them go well with the already implemented Ratcatcher! Rat ninja's. Woohoo!
Gatherer shows just 8 ninja cards but they all have lots going on on them. :?

(copy+paste the above url, due to the brackets)

Actually, no problems :) It's entirely doable, just haven't gotten around to it.
I'll also try Spiny Starfish.

Ah yes, I would probably even be able to code some extra cards (that can't be coded through keywords exclusively) once Bushido is implemented.
I'll give it a shot... the thing that makes me the most reluctant coding Bushido, is having to update some of the combat code that checks whether a blocker or attacker can be destroyed. It's kind of a mess with a lot of random checks.
By the way, it should be {maGnitude}, not {maNgitude}

I've also taken a look at the Rat Ninjas :) ... they're also possible, but Ninjutsu is tricky (and the AI certainly wouldn't know how to use it).

Last night I've been messing around with flashback. Through a series of really ugly hacks, I've managed to code flashback, as long as they're not targeted (so unfortunately I couldn't fix Firebolt or Strangling Soot). And I started out attempting Flashback:{manacost} as a keyword, but couldn't get it working :(
Ah well, at least cards like Call of the Herd, Deep Analysis and Chatter of the Squirrel work now :)

Mangitude is that bad feeling you get after watching too much anime and someone starts giving you guff about it. You feel like telling them "Go read the Manga dude!"

Would it be possible to code the scepters?
(my favorites are Isochron Scepter and Magistrate's Scepter, but I can see problems with the latter :))

Also, if counters aren't a(huge) problem, would it be possible to ask for Clockspinning?

Yeah the take an extra turn after this one would cause problems (I would've coded Time Walk already if I knew how).

Isochron Scepter is very tricky too :( But it might be possible...

I would think it's just a matter of resetting the whose turn is it counter at that end of turn (assuming that's how it is tracked).

The phase loop starts with all the human steps, and then the computer's steps. Then the turn counter is incremented, and starts back with the human steps and then the computer. This is why the computer can't go first - turn 1, step 1 is human draw step, but if it's turn 1, then it doesn't actually draw, it jumps to human main 1.
Having said all that, sure, why couldn't the turn counter just increment, and the step counter reset to zero or one....

Chameleon Colossus.
Ajani Vengeant.
Reveillark
Profane Command
Any chance of reveal creatures? - Goldmeadow Stalwart.
