HOW TO DOWNLOAD FORGE?!

I keep trying to download forge but it wont work for me, I clicked the link that brought me to this site and it opened in my zip 7 and it wont load or do anything. Can someone give me steps to download this please

Assuming you're using Windows, go to the current beta thread, download the archive file. Instead of opening the archive, extract it. If that just gives another single file (a .tar file), right click and extract again. You should then have a folder with the forge program. Run the exe in the root folder. Happy Forging!
