Quest Mode impressions

Hi guys!
First of all, thank you all for the magnificent program.
I'm getting the hang of it, and I like it a lot.

I have some thoughts on the Quest Mode.
I've been playing it a lot, and I'm having unmitigated fun!
There's one problem though... my progress is too slow when compared to the AI.
Even raising the monetary rewards, I need HUNDREDS of wins to even begin to hope to acquire a decent card pool: in the meanwhile, the AI's decks skyrocket to high heaven.
The net result is that I have to play over and over and over again with the same deck (or a very similar one) since acquiring rares just where you need them is unlikely.
Is there any way to seriously speed it up? Like, triple boosters per win, or more!

Also, question:
Are new decks being regularly added, by chance?
I almost cannot believe so much has been made so far, and now I'm spoiled :D
Thank you all again.

You can make minor adjustments in Quest Mode -> Quest Preferences. To make other adjustments you will need to edit the quest preferences file itself.

Decks are still slowly being added.

I think the problem is you are trying to build a specific deck for Quest mode, instead of building a decent deck with what you are provided. If you think of Quest like an accelerated Limited environment, you'll be better off, since you won't just be like "Oh I want to build XYZ" you'll be like oh "I have these cards that have a nice interaction, let's see if I can build around that."

I both play a lot of quest mode, and have done the most recent balancing of quest, so here is what I would recommend:

1) The Quest deck minimum is only 40 cards (since we consider it a Limited environment). This allows you to have a much more consistent deck.
2) Make use of the Pet and the Plant early on. Even if it just gives you a body to throw in the away of your opponent, it can buy you a turn or turn if your deck has a slow mana curve.
3) Scour the Card shop after every game. It rotates each time you play, and you can often get strong inexpensive commons to sturdy up your deck.
4) Don't forget to buy more Life once you can afford it
5) Don't be afraid to sell cards you don't think you'll ever use
6) Consider playing for ante, you'll be able to gain pricier cards from your opponent this way

Thank you for the useful replies!
What you're saying makes a lot of sense, I didn't "get" the feature at all.

I will try playing this way, still tweaking the preferences a little.
And I'll be on the lookout for new decks! :)
