[Bug/Suggestion?]LQ Set downloads
Posted: 05 Oct 2013, 11:53Hello, I've searched for an already existing thread relevant to this but I couldn't find one (despite I'm sure I ran across one several releases ago).
Basically, I have a number (currently 524, it used to be 120-ish back in 1.4.0) of cards with missing images (despite the images themselves can be found either in the pictures folder (as designated in the config file) or in the set folder inside the pictures one (this happens even if the image is both in the set and parent folder).
Attempting to use the LQ Set downloader detects the missing pictures, claims to be downloading them but after you close it, the images are still missing in game and in the deck editor and the set downloader still claims to be missing the same amount of images.
Additionally, when I updated the game (my previous version was 1.4.6), running the set downloader to match the new cards, it detected closer to 600 images. The extra images seem to have downloaded just fine.

I've looked a bit more into exactly which images are missing and apparently most of them are from the newer sets (Theros, M14, and V13 for instance most have no corresponding image, but that only accounts for 450-ish cards) so I figure it's actually an issue with the images not being available for download. Assuming that's the case, wouldn't it make more sense to have the downloader either show available downloads as "X items found" instead of missing images detected? Or failing that, have a report after the download is finished that states "Couldn't find Y items to download?
