Remove cards that are not fully implemented?
by mtgrares » 19 Jun 2009, 17:28
I was thinking that since MTG Forge has a ton of cards maybe we should remove cards like Aether Membrane that aren't fully implemented. They tend to confuse new users of MTG Forge and I can fully understand how confusing it is, "Why is this card here if it doesn't work correctly?".
Aether Membrane - doesn't bounce blockers
Arashi, the Sky Asunder - doesn't have channel
Barren Moor - it doesn't have cycling
Drifting Meadow
Forgotten Cave
Lonely Sandbar
Polluted Mire
Remote Isle
Secluded Steppe
Slippery Karst
Smoldering Crater
Tranquil Thicket
Mishra's Factory - doesn't have pump ability
Hand of Cruelty - doesn't have bushido
Hand of Honor
Troll Ascetic - doesn't have "opponent shroud"

Maybe I'll leave them in, but for now remove them from the list of cards that get used in generated decks ?

I like that idea, Dennis. That way, the player can still use the cards in their decks if they want to.DennisBergkamp wrote:Maybe I'll leave them in, but for now remove them from the list of cards that get used in generated decks ?

Either Ghost-Lit Redeemer is also missing it's Channel ability, or I missed something in the UI. I tried both clicking the Redeemer first (Forge then wanted me to tap W) and tapping two plains to get WW into the manapool first(Same thing).
So now you're
Screaming for the blood of the cookie monster
Evil puppet demon of obesity
Time to change the tune of his fearful ballad
C is for "Lettuce," that's good enough for me
