The ability to search/sort cards by set would be really nice. Allow for us to find cards from certain sets, or disallow other sets from showing.

I agree with Resonantg but most of the times I just want to get rid of the thee kingdom cards...

Ordering by sets would be awesome.

Also, having a data field for what type of tournaments cards are playable in would be cool. Mtgfanatic.com includes that in their search, and it would be nice to know if your precious deck is thoroughly illegal in most tournaments. I've had multiple arguments with my brother over certain cards being "too old" to use in conjunction with newer ones.

One other thing that occurred to me would be to have certain things be automated with checkboxes. Like, when I play an ally deck, it'd be nice to have all +1/+1 counters not have to ask me if I want to use their ability. I know that's one of those things where you might want to turn it off once in a while, so I'd leave the option - but having 5 or 6 allies and casting Join The Ranks, things like that start to bog the game down a lot. A similar option could work for level-up cards, an option like "spend remaining mana on level-up creature."

In quest I would really like to be able to turn my pets off to give me a little more challenge.

I would like to allow players to have a sideboard up to a maximum of 15 cards for each deck. During battles in games 2 and 3 out of the 3 game matches, the player should be able to swap cards from the sideboard into the main deck. But i guess the main reason i want the sideboard is to add cards like Spawnsire of Ulamog and Burning Wish :)

Is there some way to show if the cards have summoning sickness?

What if you made a card editor sort of a thing as a side program?

Kind of like how Starcraft had a map editor thing. You could include options for basic functions, point to types, include mana cost etc. That way people who aren't programmers can do some of the grunt work putting together codes with things that just call standard functions. You could preview the cards people submit before adding them to versions. I bet the card count would explode if it were simpler to add cards.

Just edit the file cards.txt (in the res folder), KingMob. You can find all working keywords here:
viewtopic.php?f=52&t=2495

New cards will automaticly appear in the game.

Most of the possible cards have already been added, though.

It would be really nice if it listed the new cards you received instead of just telling you that you have new cards.

You can already find this out fairly easily. Go into the Quest Mode deck editor and sort by rarity. Your newly won cards appear at the bottom of the list with a rarity of "n".

Yeah but with my massive quest data file it takes a while to load up. It would be nice not to have to do that.

I would love to have a "Gauntlet" sort of game.

That is, once you have a decent constructed deck, if there were simply a list of decks it had to beat consecutively. That way constructed games wouldn't feel like just an exhibition match, and you could get some sense of accomplishment. Also, it's tempting to just build a crazy constructed deck that really only works against certain decks, and this Gauntlet it had to run would insure it was relatively well-rounded.

Sort of a hybrid between quest and regular deck mode...

I'd kind of like it if the regular mode would also keep track of your overall record. I kind of like to know how I'm doing.

In similar light to the cards that gain the 'n' that are won after battles:
Add cards bought since the last match as 'b' in the deck editor.
Add cards won in a quest since the last match as 'q' in the deck editor.
Or if the code can't support that just let these other two situations also be 'n'
