Quest mode does not have a specific end. Some people tire quickly and will start a new quest after a few 10's of matches. Others will continue a quest into the 100's of matches without starting a new quest.
I know that some people play longer quests than others do.
But why does it say - when choosing the difficulty- 50 games, 100 games, 150 games, when there is not anything happening after this number of games?

Such a small intervention where Forge tells you that you have reached the minimum number of games to finish your quest (according to the data: 50, 100, 150) would be a nice idea.
After this screen you could still choose to continue the quest or begin another one.
But it would be a goal for playing, a marked point that you may want to reach in your Quest-game before beginning a new one, a motivation for playing until reaching this specific point :P .

Maybe we can make a "final" challenge that always shows up after 100 wins. It should be a control deck that is resistant to combo and aggro decks to only give you the option of a long grinding win.

The games used to have a hard stopping point and is just a relic of that. The number of games as been removed, but the UI was never updated to show that fact. I don't even think an Easy Quest would have reached it's max difficulty after 50 games.

Interesting idea Sloth. :)

Someone also once suggested a Steam like series of achievements. We could have achievements for:

  • Reached quest goal in matches played x 1
  • Reached quest goal in matches played x 2
  • Reached quest goal in matches played x 3
  • Won 10 matches
  • Won 50 matches
  • Won 100 matches
  • Lost 10 matches
  • Lost 50 matches
  • Lost 100 matches
  • Launched a Zeppelin
  • Purchased all available pets
  • Reached 25 starting life

Furthermore, I think those achievements could even give some sort of benefit for the player, like a free booster or free rare/mythic. Besides grind achievements, there could be the challenge ones, like "Defeat Private Domain with your current life above your starting life" or "Defeat Green Oath by milling" tasks that definitely are no easy feats.

Yes! I fully agree with you lazylockie. I totally got a feeling along the lines of "what this man is saying is 100% true" while reading your post. :D

When I first read that previous post about these achievements, I thought "meh", but with some kind of prize it suddenly totally make sense! =D>

This has been mentioned before, but now that more people have expressed an interest I'll put in the work. Next-next release (hopefully) should be done.
And done it is. Unfortunately didn't squeeze it into this release, but next-next (now, next) release it will be there as promised.

This is included in this release :)

Thanks :)
One thing still annoys me, though: A rusher deck is always stronger then a normal one, no matter what combination you are working with.
There are already alternative win bonus - how about extending it? Such a heavy deck needs a lot of time to build up, therefor you can't get the bonus for being fast.
The idea is to invent new boni which are too hard to get via a rusher deck - for example:
Some kind of Multikill. Leaving the enemy with a milled libary, dealing 10 or more poison dmg or pushing his life below 0. If more then one of these winning situation applies, the player recieves a bounty.
Some kind of Overkill. Killing the enemy with 50 poison or -50 life. The more damage, the more credits. . .

Just some suggestion which would make stronger decks much more attractive :)

I'd like to request the addition of Starter/Tournament packs for those sets that had them in order to include the basic lands that those sets had. They can be sold in the card shop for about 3x what a booster from that set would cost.

In deck editor, can we search mana abilities, in a previous version (i dont know which) you could type "add W to your mana pool" to find lands that would go in white decks

The deck editor now uses oracle text so you would have to search instead for the following (note the curly brackets):
Code: Select all
add {W} to your mana pool

Kind of on the subject of search... is there a way to search multiple (unconnected) words and if not could it be added?

For example
Search: deathtouch, reach For a spider that kills
or
Search: graveyard, draw for something like Cremate

I'd like to see a format filter in the constructed mode deck selection. Right now I try to add the format name to any deck I create but it would be nice just to pick a format.

Also, it would be nice if the constructed deck editor at least kept the spaces in the display name for a deck and even better if it kept the space in the filename too.

A feature that I would really appreciate is the ability to select all the creatures I wanted to attack by pressing and holding the left mouse button over those creatures in the combat phase. The ability to cancel the attack by pressing and holding the right mouse button over the attacking creatures would be just as neat. If this isn't possible or just too hard, then a keyboard shortcut to automatically make all creatures attack and one to cancel all attacks would be more than enough to me. I'm sorry if I'm requesting something that has been requested before, but quite honestly, I didn't want to search all the comments just to see if it was :-P

I think there was talk of adding this to the new shortcut panel where "Concede" is located.
