I would love an alpha strike button next to the declare attackers phase. The button would declare all possible attackers to attack the current target. Player or planeswalker.

In quest mode I think that it would be really cool to implement the generate deck feature to play against. Just some low level random decks that are made up on the spot to play against.
In Quest I would also like to see the standard enemy's stats change. Perhaps occasionally a hard deck would show up in the easy cue with 10 life and 5 poison counters. Or after you have beaten an AI a few times they get bonuses like extra life or larger starting hand and no limit of cards.

The pets could also be spiced up some. What if they did not automatically show up every match. They just had a chance to that was rolled with the chance to go first. I wish I could pick what level of AI I was playing at any time. So I could go into the easy cue if I just wanted to play some quick games or med if I was more daring.

I used to love the Vanguard add on for fun. It would be cool to be able to unlock add-ins for my character and get a emblem with an effect to start with.

What about set legal quest mode or prismatic quest mode. I think that this goes along with my random deck ideas but what if we enforced deck making rules. The decks that you played against would be random at lower tiers but perhaps we could tune some higher tiers.

I guess I just want to see quest mode more varied. I have been a part of forge for 3 years now and I think that it is time to expand the quest offerings.

We have the classic mode. Lets make something truly awesome with quest.

You could use AutoHotkey {Google it} to remap your keys however you like, I could even email you a compiled .exe that would let you use the left key as your enter button. It's a pretty cool program, I use it all the time for Forge and other tasks.

I'd like to be able to add multiple copies of a card at one time. For instance, if I'm making a monocolored deck, I'd like to be able to put 16-24 basic lands by typing the number of copies of that card to add, or by clicking up/down arrow buttons.

Since the system downloads "card prices" I would like the ability to see them in the editor and and get an estimated total for my deck.

I play MTG in real life too, and sometimes I would like to "buy" a deck I've built in forge but it is nice to see what cards I can actually afford.

Any chance on pulling data from Gatherer on Community Rating?

I doubt we'd ever do it by ourselves, we do use Arch's mtgdata for other stuff, if he had it in his utility it would be much more of a possibility.

Request: Add "Report Bug" button in bottom-right control panel of game (active match) screen. Allow sending bug report within an active match without need of crash error window to select "Report Bug".
Reason: I've run into several bugs while playing. Some of these relate to how card effects and rules are implemented, or similar bugs. As much as I want to help improve Forge, my main interest is playing. I'm not going to interrupt/drop from my game and am very unlikely to open notepad to note details and remember/bother to submit it later. But doing it on the spot feels easier and less invasive to my playing experience.

Request: Add "Quicksave Match" button in cp of game screen. Saves current game state and match info. Can be loaded from main menu to continue match where left off. Optional: save tournament data too, including deck builds etc, so it can be loaded even if a draft/etc has been deleted from that screen.
Reason: For many reasons I might need to interrupt my game. I'd like to come back to it later. My personal preference is strongly towards a simple Quicksave rather than Save As/Enter Name multiple save option. Keeps it simple and uncluttered with no confusion if I come back to it a week later.

I think its still a while before we can save a current game state at any point in the match and have it remember all the spells on stack, delayed triggers, targets selected effects etc. However, I don't think we're too far from being able to do a basic save that records cards in each zone as well as their position. I could be wrong though.

Mana burn

I talked with a friend about this now obsolete rule of mana burn where you damage yourself by not flushing your mana pool. Could you implement it as an optional rule? Would be nice to use it with decks <M10 as a checkbox near the "Singleton Mode/Remove Artifacts/..Small Creatures" checkboxes.

I like this idea, and I'll implement it unless several others are strongly opposed to having this as an option.

Mark, in the future could you place feature requests in the Feature Request Thread on the main forum?

Can't see anyone objecting to it being an option. In fact as far as I can tell the majority of the dev team played predominantly while mana burn was part of the rules. I for one will definitely enable just for nostalgia, and it still feels right. I think its also a great thing to have around if the quest mode gets developed where players progress through the history of magic through different blocks. Mana burn could be enabled for all blocks up to the rule change.
