If i had known this was possible it would have saved me so many clicks

For lots of items going on to the stack, would it be possible to add an "I don't care what order these things go on the stack button"?Bundy wrote:Sometimes my Mycoloth puts 30 token into play, and each of those tokens triggers one or more effects, resulting in a stack of sometimes over 150 items i have to answer with yes or no.
Would it possible to add a 'yes to all' and 'no to all' button. This way the stack can resolve the repeated event itself without me pushing the yes or no button.
It's probably simplest to change this Checkbox just to a Select box. Standard, Extended, Modern, Eternal. This would only change the starting Card choices, it won't filter out banned cards.Symphonic wrote:Most of my decks are Modern-creations and many players are playing Modern most of their time. Since it was possible for Standard, would it also be possible to add the possibility to start a new Quest with a Modern-Starting-Pool?
You don't have to play those cards, if you aren't having fun with them, don't play them.abyssaldesignatorify wrote:Is it possible to restrict the whole card pool to modern cards only or restrict banned cards? There should be a way to limit the card pool, currently I'm using banned artifact lands/tinker combo deck and it's totally broken.
Also, power nine cards aren't supposed to be in the game; it totally ruins the fun.
What about the AI quest decks? They are not restricted either. Sure I can restrict myself to play standard and lose? For example even the medium AI fields artifact lands...friarsol wrote:You don't have to play those cards, if you aren't having fun with them, don't play them.
Quest Mode is an unrestricted eternal format, designed around the AIs capabilities. Forge's background comes from a place of "wouldn't it be cool if I could play with every card in the game?" So that's what we have to offer. Just because a card is restricted or banned in legacy, doesn't mean that the decks the AI is using is abusing those cards in the same way that caused them to become banned. Most of the cards that are banned, I don't think the AI could even handle the intricate combos that caused the scenario. Some of them are easy enough to use (Moxen). And sure, Artifact lands make Affinity stronger. But they also don't know how to juggle the bits and pieces that make that combo deck obnoxious in the hands of a skilled player.abyssaldesignatorify wrote:What about the AI quest decks? Although the AI is stupid they can still provide ridiculous challenge through brute force. For example Samantha Stephens uses 4x Time Walk, 4x Swords to Plowshares, 4x Enlightened Tutor, Ancestral Recall, etc... As a result, this forces players to resort to unrestricted deck and broken combos. I think that an option to play with restricted modern only format is needed. Is there an alternative restricted decks that the AI could use somewhere? Otherwise once a player win a certain number of games, it is hard to continue playing with casual/theme/standard deck.Chris H. wrote:Do not let those quest AI decks scare you just because of the cards themselves.
The AI code is slowly improving with time and the AI slowly becomes a more competent opponent as a result.
But the AI will always fall far short of a competent human player.
The AI decks look very organized with strong power cards because that is what it takes to provide a challenge to us humans.
The worst human opponent that you could find at the local FNM game is probably a better player than the Forge AI computer player.
I think this deck is one of the oldest, and isn't quite as balanced as some of the newer ones. Sloth can probably confirm. If you really have an issue with a particular deck, feel free to make suggestions on how to make it more balanced. I play a lot of Quest mode and rarely lose. I think it's good that the AI can present a challenge, even if their card power is clearly greater than mine. If you just feel like deleting decks, you can find them all in: res\quest\duelsabyssaldesignatorify wrote:Although the AI is stupid they can still provide ridiculous challenge through brute force.
