Thanks! Somehow I didn't see that!Chris H. wrote:AddleGuru wrote:Deck Repository:

Thanks Nordos! I saw that icon, but the tooltip/balloon made me think it was used to create proxies!Nordos wrote:There is an Icon in the Deck Builder which is called 'print'. If there isn't such a tab, go to res\layouts and delete editor_preferred.xml - that should reset it to the default one, which should include the search function
do we? if so, how?friarsol wrote:Don't we already have that?lazylockie wrote:can you guys implement a way to choose which columns should show up on deck editor?
Deck Editor, Preferences tab, Card Catalog Columns? Unless I'm misunderstanding what you want.lazylockie wrote:do we? if so, how?friarsol wrote:Don't we already have that?lazylockie wrote:can you guys implement a way to choose which columns should show up on deck editor?

I believe we already have this.eljinete7 wrote:It's very nice to see how alive is Forge these days, but is there any developer working or interested in implementing a real mana pool for the AI? It would be sweet cards like Priest of Titania or the old Dark Ritual could be played by AI. Sorry, but I don't think so. Dark Ritual like cards are marked as AI in deck editor and Force of Will likes too. I think AI's mana pool never be implemented and also computer does not play Force of Will and similar cards for its alternate (and useful) casting cost, so this is not supported yet too. I'd say these are then two pendant and very interesting main features to add to Forge.friarsol wrote:I believe we already have this.eljinete7 wrote:It's very nice to see how alive is Forge these days, but is there any developer working or interested in implementing a real mana pool for the AI? I was mostly only talking about a real mana pool. The AI does have one of these (and a lot of time was spent doing it, so I don't know why you are claiming it's not implemented). Can the AI use Dark Ritual decently? No (which is why they are listed the way they are), but it can use Sol Ring now, when it used to not be able to.eljinete7 wrote:Sorry, but I don't think so. Thanks for clarifying this. I only noted that AI doesn't cast Dark Ritual and friends. So, cards like Elvish Archdruid or Priest of Titania are well handled by AI? I didn't know Sol Ring works correctly now for computer. And, why AI can use Sol Ring but Dark Ritual not? They both seem similar cards. Thanks again for the info.friarsol wrote:I was mostly only talking about a real mana pool. The difference comes about because one is a mana ability and one is a spell that produces mana. The AI can figure out which mana abilities to use to pay the cost to cast a spell pretty well. To use a card like Dark Ritual effectively would require the AI to plan out which spell it wanted to cast that needed the mana which it can't do currently. The AI basically looks at each card in its hand and tries to decide if it should cast it or not. Cards like Dark Ritual just look like another instant or sorcery. If the AI were to cast it, there is no guarantee in the current AI structure that it could use the resulting mana for a follow on spell. Rather than have the AI waste these cards a large portion of the time, they are currently disabled for AI play.eljinete7 wrote:And, why AI can use Sol Ring but Dark Ritual not? The real problem is that the ability of Dark Ritual is a not a mana ability. The AI only uses mana abilities when it wants to cast a spell. The AI can use Elvish Spirit Guide just fine for example.ArsenalNut wrote:The difference comes about because one is a mana ability and one is a spell that produces mana. The AI will not really misuse Sol Ring. It will always use at least one of the mana produced.ArsenalNut wrote:This is less of problem for mana sources like Sol Ring. If the AI misuses it, at least its still available next turn.
Thanks Foreroes - well put! Hopefully it lasts more than 8 turns (Taj Mahal?)*Foreroes wrote:Wow Forge is in its golden age! I am enjoying Forge more and more.![]()
I agree, animations are neat, and yes it is possible and definitely on the list. So, the answer is a slow yes (that is, it may take a few months).I would like to propose some more animation in the game, it would be interesting to see the tapping movement when you tap a land for mana or tap a creature when attacking. Is it possible? What do you think about this? I don't know perhaps it's a stupid idea from my part or it's simply impossible to implement.
