Quest Pet changes - boo!

I'm aware that quest pet leveling being dependent on player level is a changed feature that other members kind of clamored for, but it is one that I really don't like. I would like to be able to level my quest pets to max right out of the gate, instead of having to wait until I get to x amount of wins. Currently, the way I play, I can't level a pet until I get to hundreds or thousands of wins, and I kind of need those pets to hold off enemy decks until my quest deck of hundreds of cards gets going. Can we at least make it optional?
