For future reference, if this server is full then something else is wrong. I'm using the virtual server that hosts all the stuff on cardforge.link to build Forge. I have that set up to delete any snapshots older than a day automatically (except the latest snapshot). It should be quite a while (at least a couple years) before this server fills up, if ever.

Not sure if it's just me but the latest snapshot on krazyweb.net isnt the latest committed version.

Last version available is 33275

I need to set up another build server again. A while back my web host removed the access I needed to manage the build script on my server. I let it run while I had space, but I just had to have them remove the script and all associated data since I'd run completely out of space and couldn't do the latest release. I'll have another server up soon.

Krazy, do you mind giving a quick explanation as to what these Snapshots are used for? Or anybody else?

Thanks in advance,
Psy

Between 2 stables releases, the devs nearly add / fix / rework commits to the game every days, you can check the incredible amount of work they do here :
http://svn.slightlymagic.net/websvn/log.php

The snapshots from KrazyTheFox website are automatic builds of Forge made after each new addition/fix/rework commits , so it can be interesting to get one after a specific fix/improvement to something you do in Forge has been made.

So if you want the very latest state of Forge (sometime it can have new bugs and crash, sometime it can be much more stable than the stable version), you may want to download the very latest snapshot.

But remember that to post bugs about snapshots, you must use the snapshot bug report thread :
viewtopic.php?f=52&t=6333
not the stable release one.

While we wait on your new place, is there som other place we could get our hands on the latest "hotfixes" ?

Thanks.

The server is full and Krazy doesn't have access to clear it out.

I got access to clear it out, but I won't have continued access to do so, so I had the scripts and user account removed, effectively stopping the builds. Work just had me doing around 14 hours of work a day for the past several weeks (including weekends), so I haven't had time to set up a replacement unfortunately :(.

Thanks for posting this Sol. It's a much needed update. :)

Until a permanent solution is worked out on posting the snapshot builds, can you do this once a week or so, if it's not a pain in the ass to do, so we can continue to test with a version that has incorporated the fixes that have been implemented in between these snapshot releases?

Thank you again for getting this to us. 8)

I'll try to do a snpashot each week, but no promises as life always seems super busy and I need to go boot up my desktop to run a release, since my laptop flips out if I try to run one from it...

1.5.61 Snapshots will live here: http://www.cardforge.org/snapshots/forg ... -SNAPSHOT/

Future snapshots will be similar urls, just go up one directory, and then to the next number in line..
