The other formats

Hi guys,
I've been playing with Forge for some time now, 99,9% of it in Quest Mode.
I've tried to do other things but something eludes me.

I'm looking for a bit of insight about the other formats like Commander, Planechase, Cube.
I would like to learn about them, but how am I supposed to use them in Forge?
I mean in Quest mode you have your deck and diverse opponents, you acquire new cards and all. Pretty straightforward.
But suppose I want to try Commander. I have to build a deck and then use it in single, isolated matches against the AI, right? Are there pre-built opponents or, I mean, decks?
What about Planechase and Cube?

Any help about what's what (from other users, no need to waste the developers' precious time ) would be much appreciated

There are lots of pre-built decks for commander, planechase etc ... available in :
viewforum.php?f=48

Gos has made Forge version of the "official" decks , it contains decks for all the MTG formats and amongst the tons of decks there is, you can find official commanders and more other format decks too :

And he made dedicaced thread with commander decks from the WotC website articles :

You can place those decks in their dedicaced directory , located in
C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Local\Forge\decks\
or
C:\Users\<yourusername>\Application Data\Roaming\Forge\decks\
or
C:\Documents and Settings\<yourusername>\Application Data\Forge\decks\

(depending on which version of window you're using)
For Mac it should be something like
<your home directory>/Library/Application Support/Forge/decks/

in that directory, you have a commander folder in which you can put all your commander decks


They will appear ingame when you play the Constructed game type and enable Commander on the top :

So let's see if I can pick it up from here: cubes go under the "draft" directory, and Planechase decks go under the "planar" directory?
Did I guess right?

And where can I get some Planechase decks and cubes? I couldn't spot them among gos' super-posts.

For the planechase one, i have them actually in
...\decks\constructed\Planechase\

instead of that planar directory, because if i put them there, they're listed correctly but i can't select them (i can click on them, but still they're not listed as the deck i choose)

I'm not sure it's a bug that should be reported or just me not understanding how it works, but by moving them into the constructed directory, i can just choose them as custom deck

From gos "WotC Preconstructed Decks" there, the official planechase decks in the download are :
Chaos Reigns
Night of the Ninja
Primordial Hunger
Savage Auras
Elemental Thunder
Metallic Dreams
Zombie Empire

There's another official planechase deck ( Strike Force ) but it's having 2 cards not coded yet in Forge :
Captain's Maneuver
Razia, Boros Archangel

It would seem Planechase isn't getting as much love as Commander does, which is surprising to me, since flavor-wise I'd say Planechase is more intriguing.
Well I'll grab those anyway.

And what about cubes? Are there fan-made cubes maybe? I've found one in that sub-forum, but nothing else, and the one for Vintage Masters (EDIT: I've found a few more in a stickied thread). They're used for drafts, right?

Sorry, i never tried yet to play with a cube, so i can't say much on how it works in Forge.

I'll try and figure out cubes too when I have more time
