Collectible Card Game Headquarters

When I was replacing the "basic" token pictures in MTG Forge with resized scans, I noticed that the basic lands have multiple pictures, (Forest, Forest1, Forest2, Forest3), and they appear in game with multiple pictures.
Would this work for other cards as well, or are basic lands special? I.e., could I resize the scans of each version of the card or token and have them randomly appear?

Hmm, unfortunately no not exactly. It was something I was experimenting with, so I hard-coded this into the program just for the basic lands.
Ideal would be to rewrite this somehow, so that for each card the "version" of picture that will show up could be specified in the deck editor.
