Collectible Card Game Headquarters

I noticed few cards didn't trigger or start function correctly.

Indulgent Tormentor
At the beginning of your upkeep, draw a card unless target opponent sacrifices a creature or pays 3 life.
It doesn't active during the controller's upkeep (beginning) as it have no effect on that controller's upkeep.

Purity
It says it would convert any non-combat damage, but doesn't activate at all.
Is there something wrong with these? and I am new

i tested Indulgent Tormentor.

it does only activate on your upkeep,
and if the AI does pay the life or sacrificing creature.
depends on what the opponent has. (that is correct)

i checked the AI logic, it does Never sacrifice a creature.
and the pay life is only at LowPriority. (in only 1/3 of the cases)
(might do some tweaking a bit, to allow it to sacrifice useless creatures or tokens)

i will tested Purity too.
it doesn't "Activate" because its an replacement Effect.
so you will not notice it, but your life total did change.
(like from 20 with a Lighting Bolt to 23)
