Sealed & Draft! Fantasy Blocks!
by Darkholme » 11 Aug 2016, 07:22
So, the main thing I do in forge is play around with sealed, and with drafting. Typically I don't feel a need for the singleton aspect of a cube, and often I'm not looking for a refined custom set so much as something different to draft
Anyways, this is what I came up with today.
Drafting Modern:
Go with some mix of Core and Expanded, choose 10E for your core, and choose LorwynC&Alara! Want to draft both ravnica sets, or both innistrad sets? Easy. All core sets from 8-Origin? Also easy. Just Masters? Cake.
Only thing it doesn't support is individual expansion sets, everything's by the block - but I can't imagine actually wanting to draft just one set anyways.
Drop it into your fantasyblocks.txt and give it a go, and let me know what you think, and share your own fantasy/metablocks!
