Unable to download some card images

When I use the content downloader to Download LQ Card Pictures, it can't download many of the cards. I'm always left with about 2000 items left. In the console I get a ton of messages like

  Connection failed for url: http://resources.wizards.com/magic/cards/chk/en-us/card50299.jpg

And sure enough if I try to go to that URL, I get "Bad Request (Invalid Hostname)" so it seems like that is the wrong URL.

Is there an easier way to download the images? Is something wrong?

I'm using 1.5.55 on a Mac.
