Forge for IOS?

I used to play Forge all the time when I had an Android phone but last year I switched to an iPhone and am really, REALLY, missing Forge. I've searched this forum but haven't found an IOS version for iPhone or iPad yet and was wondering if anybody knows where it is or if one is being developed. Thanks.

I believe that the main problem is the lack of java on iphone. This would probably require a rewrite of much of forge.
I read that maybe there is some unofficial way of starting java on iphone, but, if it works, you should adapt to the desktop interface on a smartphone.
