running Forge on a Chromebook

Postby cojoMan » 19 Aug 2017, 18:29

I have a Acer R11 Chromebook running ChromeOS.
Installed Forge on it, but having issues running it. Commands get stuck, using touch or mouse doesn/t matter. Picture dld stopped at some point, and now when I restarted, it gets in a loop as scanning local pictures for hours on end.

Anyone running it on a Chromebook that would like to let me know how ?
Also on what version, as well on how to check for java version and what I sould have running ?

thanks !!

ps. I have Crouton, and linux, and it works, I like to do it in ChromeOS though, in case I decide to ditch Crouton.
