Somehow the last time I grabbed this I wound up downloading forge-gui-desktop-1.6.16.tar instead of "Forge Desktop.app"... wondering where I got it because my v1.6.16 version runs (via forge.command) but when I try and launch "Forge Desktop.app" I get the "Unable to load Java Runtime Environment" error.

UPDATE (12/10/18): Forge Mobile v1.6.19 for macOS has been updated to the v1.6.19.003 base, which fixes a number of regressions in the mobile code. You may want to redownload Forge for Mobile if you're using this backport.

When I attempt to launch the Forge desktop application it says "Forge Desktop is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash." Any help would be appreciated.

When I go to the Dropbox page, there's no download option and if I try and save it it downloads it as a complete webpage.

I had to use wget to get it, then change the extension in order to extract it:

"wget https://www.dropbox.com/s/p5gv3a8mryl8l ... 1.zip?dl=0"
which results in this: "Forge Desktop 1.6.21.zip?dl=0"

I removed the "?dl=0" and then could extract the zip. It then launched fine for me.
