Crashing on opening, appdata missing
by dannnnv » 24 Nov 2017, 20:20
Hi Gang,
After importing some art, I can no longer get the program to open. It crashes after "opening main window"
I looked for a fix, but all of the folders I would expect to find in "appdata" aren't there. The folder itself is missing.
I've tried deleting everything and reinstalling. No luck.
Here's the crash info, fyi:

What does it do if you remove what you added ? Where did you put your art ?
And what folder where you looking for ? If your problem is that you can't see appdata, go to C:\Users\yourUsername, then at the top of windows explorer go to view, and check hidden files. "appdata" should now appear. (https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows ... ows-vista/)
There are 2 folders important for Forge to work properly, AppData\Local\Forge (where you'll find Cache\pics\cards for the art of the cards) and AppData\Roaming\Forge (where you'll find your quest saves and your decks).
