Re: Forge Launcher.exe. Auto install / update Forge and mor

enhancement request: could there be an option to update to the builds located at https://snapshots.cardforge.org/
I am not sure how you determine what the newest builds are to update to but I know that the builds at snapshots are always super new.
Thanks!

That's right, it's check last link of https://snapshots.cardforge.org/ to compare the text that is in your Forge folder version.txt <forge_version> to know if exist new version.

Re: Forge Tools for Windows (Updater and Launcher)

The launcher is absolutely awesome!
It checks if there is a update for both the launcher and notify you whenever a new snapbuild of Forge is availible and it has built in deck extraction, top 50 decks in standard, modern, legacy, pauper, vintage, commander, commander 1v1 and brawl.

It's a great tool! Thanks for this!

I still work on the project, feel free to try it and suggest me some improving or other features that can facilitate Forge users in windows. It's just my bit for the community of this great program, thanks to all Forge devs, you guys are the best! Keep firing up the Forge! :)

Awesome!

But can't the Forge developers make an update feature inside Forge itself (like Forge mobile)?

Hi

I think I found a bug in Forge Translator Assistant.

If you open a file and then press "create new translation file", you can choose to save your changes (yes or no) but also to press "cancel" button.
If you press "cancel" all text dissapears and a new file is created. I think pressing "cancel" should not do that, but instead leave all text on the screen and don't create a new file (it's in fact cancel option chosen :-)).

New feature request (maybe): let the user choose his/her language when creating a new file and automatically save the right file name (instead of using the website link in the program)

Thx for adding the font size! Now it's perfect on 4K monitors.

Hi

Another weird thing in Translator Assistant. Because I'm currently translating to Dutch, I don't know what to do with those text lines.

It are for example such text lines: "This will reset the Deck Editor screen layout.\n All tabbed views will be restored to their default positions.\n\n Reset layout?"

As you can see, there are "\n" inside the text (and also "\n\n"). What is this and what do I need to do with them when translating? Do I have to keep those symbols at the right place after translating or is it a bug?

"\n" is usually the code for "new line". You should preserve them. I would say that a bug is that space afterwards -- that means the next line will start with a space. It should be:
"This will reset the Deck Editor screen layout.\nAll tabbed views will be restored to their default positions.\n\nReset layout?"

OK!

If possible, fix the bug because I use the tool to translate :-)

If there is no "en-US.properties" file in the same folder as the Translator Assistant, you get a window that says "no en-US.properties file".

Maybe it would be nice if the program downloads (I think it already updates the "en-US.properties" file) "en-US.properties" when there is no such file when running the program for the first time.

Forge Translator Assistant:
Would it be possible to highlight blank cells somehow? Maybe a yellow background for blank cells?
It would make it easier to find new ones, and to check if i missed an entry.

Thanks from me, too. =D>
The translator updated as intended. It works great. That will be a great help.

I posted my most recent translation file seconds before. :D
