It'll be in the next release.drekonja wrote:How far is the implementation of Palace Jailer? It's one of main reasons I'm interested in legacy
You could definitely draft snow-covered lands in all Ice Age drafts. I couldn't tell you when they stopped doing this, but I absolutely remember being able to draft some snow covered lands in order to make some abilities of the cards work. I'm pretty sure there were random basic lands in boosters, as well.friarsol wrote:I don't believe Ice Age boosters contained snow-covered lands. People were annoyed to see basics taking up random common slots in early days. The basic in the last slot is a relatively new reinvention.
There aren't specific basic land slots in Ice Age, and Ice Age was released before "drafting" was really a thing. I know 4th edition boosters didn't have basics as commons, I think Revised was the last edition to have that feature. Before posting I watched someone open half a booster box of Ice Age on camera without seeing any basics as commons.shteev wrote:You could definitely draft snow-covered lands in all Ice Age drafts. No. That's not true. Wastes are basic lands, but you don't get an unlimited number of them. You can only play with the ones in your card pools.Seravy wrote:Basic lands in boosters shouldn't have anything to do with drafting anyway.
It's been a while but as far as I remember the tournament rules clearly said that players can add any number of basic lands provided by the organizer of the event. Snow Covered lands are basic, so I assume they should be provided for Ice Age draft and sealed.
Basic Lands in boosters is a new thing, it was introduced when I stopped playing around 10th edition.
