How to stop during upkeep

My deck has Ashen Ghoul and it's sufficiently buried and I want to cast it from the graveyard but at the beginning of my turn everything is automated and only stops at the precombat phase, after ashen ghoul would be playable from the graveyard.

Click on the upkeep phase indicator
