Collectible Card Game Headquarters

Hello everyone,

I am using Forge and I really like it! It is such a great program.
I used to download the Card Images with the "automatic download" option,
but some pictures seem to be of low resolution.

I have a question: Where is Forge downloading the images from?
And is there a way to "set" this location to Scryfall for example?
There must be some link inside the software that tells it were to look for pictures
online and how to search them there.

I do love Scryfall, as it is such a good site.
Also, since srcyfall seems to be partner with this site, would it not be perfect if forge would download pictures from scryfall?

I would love a feature in Forge that allows to download Scryfall HQ images too!

Could a developer of Forge think of this to implement please?

In that way every user of Forge could use HQ images without any problems!

Try my MQ images, this is good for android devices with 4gb ram and below with 1080p display and below

Unless it's been changed recently, each card script contains a download link for the image. Good luck trying to change each of them manually.

What if Forge just downloads all images from Scryfall, renames them correctly (to work with Forge), puts them in the right folders, no matter if the card is supported or not by Forge (the images are there ready to be used when a Forge update adds new cards).

In this way all cards are on the hard drive, in great quality (Scryfall) and the download links in the card scripts can stay the way they are (just don't use the download link in the cards scripts in Forge anymore)

I think it's strange Scryfall isn't used at all in Forge and people are making HQ card images on the forum while Scryfall has everything you need.
Scryfall seems to be a partner of this forum but the Forge team isn't using their excellent quality images...

Anybody who can tell me the reason behind all this?

That hasn't been changed recently. That hasn't been used for a long time.

Scryfall isn't the source of truth of Images. That actually belongs to the CCGHQ guys on this very forum. That's where we get the hosted images from. Hosting images is expensive, I don't think we'll ever host HQs.

What website or server holds the LQ card images now?
