Forge M19 Snapshot Release (2018-7-23)
by friarsol » 24 Jul 2018, 03:35
Our release server is currently down, and the dev in charge of the server is currently on vacation.. Until then.. here's a snapshot release that has M19 cards that you can salivate on (just yknow, don't salivate everywhere please. The custodial crew is very expensive)
https://ftp.cardforge.org/maven/snapsho ... -1.tar.bz2
If you have any issues, please post them in this thread.
When the server is back online we'll fire a full release. THanks!

Just a minor nitpick, but is there a reason why M19 is called "Core 2019", when all other core sets are referred to as "Magic 201X" within Forge?
Thanks for the build!

I've reported this before, and I don't mean to keep spamming this, but I don't think double strike or first strike is working at the moment. The past several snapshots have had this bug as well.

I reported before these.Sorry for repeating.
Liliana, Untouched by Death's second ability has bug.
It shouldn't be activate multiple.
I think it is the cause of a missing " | Planeswalker$ True | " in the script.
Vivien's Jaguar should has Reach.

Because M14 (etc) are called Magic 2014, but M19 is called Core 2019?CiVex wrote:Just a minor nitpick, but is there a reason why M19 is called "Core 2019", when all other core sets are referred to as "Magic 201X" within Forge?

Okay, this was kind of an odd one.
I let Forge download the new card images (M19, GS1). Think it was like 388 or something. When the download was done I replaced them all with HQ images.
I then had the program check again for missing images just to be sure, and it told me again there was 388 to download. Started the download, but it didn't actually get anything. Nothing in the corresponding folders was overwritten/changed or added, yet at the end of the download it said it got them all and nothing was skipped.
If I check it again now it says I got all images, so I guess it was a one time thing, but that was kind of weird.

First of all, thanks for the release for M19 cards. But, I found some bugs in 1.6.11, still not fixed in this version.
In Deck Editor, when you double click a card to remove it, in old version like 1.6.10, forge will find that card in catalog on the left automaticly. But in this version, nothing happens if you do so, unless you right-click the card and use the "Remove X copies of card from deck" function. This is really annoying and uncomfortable for ppl like me who likes to replace cards for later and better-looking version.
Then there is the bug with direct damage spells, I understand that forges started to change the rules for these spells as they were changed by the offical rule, like Lightning Bolt statement changed to "any target". But the thing is, you can directly use Lightning Bolt to a planeswalker, but if you use it on an opponent as a planeswalker is on the battlefield in the same time, forge will still ask you if you want to redirect the damage to that planeswalker, which is obviously wrong as the new offical rule states players can't do that anymore.
Finally, in the latest BBD, Will Kenrith and Rowan Kenrith both have two copies, and was not properly named somehow in forge since I have the pics of those cards, but they were not been correctly showed in forge.

I think this issue has been around before this build so it's probably been talked about, but I'm not sure Forge is resolving the rules correctly when you make a permanent Hexproof in response to being targeted. And with Chromium, the Mutable it's a play that's in Standard again (unless it was and I forgot?). My Chromium was targeted by a 'Destroy target creature' spell and I discarded a card to make it a 1/1 hexproof human and then lost it anyway. It hadn't taken any damage that turn.

Whenever a creature dies, Ajani's Last Stand triggers and creates the Avatar token. But the enchanment doesn't get sacrificed, at least when the computer has it in play.
Thanks!
Thanks!
