Question on Exalted

I've just redone the way Exalted works (it's now a triggered ability which is checked for only once, after attackers have been declared).
But I was wondering, if there are a bunch of Exalted creatures under control of the attacking player, and only one creature attacks, does that creature get +x/+x until EOT or does it get x instances of +1/+1 until end of turn? It probably matters more now that Stifle is implemented...

It gets X instances of +1/+1.

It's checked only once, but it's checked for each creature that has exalted. So each permanent with exalted will trigger and put an ability on the stack that gives +1/+1 to the sole attacking creature.
