I just updated to the unofficial beta 02/09 from the official 01/01 build

I can no now longer hover over the images to view them in all their glory on the right side.

Is this a bug or a change that was made on purpose?

Is there anything I can do to fix this without going back to 01/01 ?

The column containing the card detail and picture panels can be resized by clicking and dragging the vertical border. The picture will automatically change size to fit the new width of the picture panel.

I noticed that, but it's not the same thing.

I like to see the full image when I hover over the image and not sacrifice screen real estate so the image is always full size.

If this was on purpose I humbly ask that you guys add back the old way, even if only as an option I have to enable.

I liked the way this worked too (full size image on mouse over), but unfortunately it was causing a lot of memory problems
Which is why we changed it ...

Well the new version runs out of memory and starts crashing far more often and far sooner than the 01/01 build which usually took a few hours before it got bogged down and that's with me mousing over images on a regular basis.

If this feature only returned as an option for me to enabled that would be fine. Without it though it really makes playing a lot less fun since the cards are blurry.

I beg whomever's decision this is to please reconsider!!

I assume you've been using HQ images (for both 01/01 and the 02/09 versions) ?
Anyway, I didn't know this latest version was even worse than 01/01 (the very reason I replaced the image displaying code was because people were getting heap space errors).
Maybe there could be an option to specify which type of image display to use (perhaps replacing the "Resizable GUI" option"?).

Let's hope silly freak gets things sorted soon and then the mouse over can resume normal operation.

Yes I am using HQ images.

it's just not very fun with the LQ ones.

And yes the 02/09 build is very unstable.

it starts to bog down toward the end of the first game, each move takes about 30 seconds.

01/01 was far better in every aspect, now I don't know if this is due to the GUI/image changes or due the new cards and the extra logic that was added to support them but something is definitely wrong.

I could play for hours before it happened in 01/01 and this is on a core2duo with 2GB of ram.
