Hey Agetian, would you please publish the "Android version" backported to Windows? You did it once and it was great!

I think that it would be super if you guys always could publish both versions when you update Android Forge... because Android Forge has features the desktop version is missing, so it would be great running also the Android version on PC too.

Hi, I just got a new phone with Android 8.1, and I have a problem. I'd like to move at least the card pics to the SD card, but Forge will hang at boot if I do that. My guess is that the old storage permission it requires isn't enough to grant it full access to the SD card on Android 8.1. I know that asking to make a version with up-to-date permissions would be too much, I just want to ask if anybody knows of a workaround.

It appears hollow one is bugged. Attached are photos showing attempting to cast hollow one, discarding a card, and then attempting to cast again, resulting in the same cost.

Hi all,

I would like to learn the mechanics of the game so my colleague recommended to use this. However, he's on PC so he doesn't know much about the phone version.

I downloaded the game since then, and have been experiencing game crash. The farthest I was able to go to was the selection of decks/changing name after tapping on "New Game". I also tried clearing the game preferences after doing some research to no avail.

Please help as I am keen to learn how to play with the use of your app.

UPDATE (11/16/18): Forge for Android v1.6.18.002 has been released. It's a hotfix which is aimed at fixing a bug which made the game visualize all hidden areas face up (even the opponent's hand and library). Unfortunately, it also means that the "automatically download missing card art" option has been temporarily removed from mobile Forge until it can be patched up not to cause this issue.

And some news about the mobile backport for platforms other than macOS: this is definitely planned and coming In fact, there will be several interesting developments from me closer to the Christmas season related to LibGDX Forge (which is the mobile version, essentially). So, stay tuned, folks!

when I connect to the host, then on the connected device instead of the front picture, there is a reverse side.
I tried to connect the tablet to the phone and vice versa.
This is an internal game. Wi-fi distributed from phone to tablet. Used url for internal game.

that sounds intriguing!

IMHO the mobile layouts in landscape for each section of Forge make much more sense

First thing I do on Windows is trying to copy the mobile landscape layout, as much as possible, but resizing and moving the layout around sometimes results in a glitchy or crashing client.. last time I tried it.

Strange, if I try to start a quest on the newest version, it does not give me any cards, except sometimes 30 basic lands. If I check the "Start with all cards in selected sets" I receive all of the cards, as I should. I don't know if this is a problem on my machine or not and have no way to check. Just wanted to report this somewhere, just in case.

UPDATE (11/26/18): Forge for Android v1.6.18.004 has been released. It's a hotfix which is aimed at fixing an issue with the AI no longer equipping legendary permanents. Enjoy!

Re: Thief of Sanity - just tried it in both builds (1.6.18.003 and 1.6.18.004) and it allowed me to pay mana of any type and color for the cards I exiled. What kind of issue are you having with it?
