Latest forge update doesn't work

Latest forge update doesn't work

What am I missing? I have java 8. Neither the forge app icon or the jar file will start the game. The last version still works fine.

Which version of Java 8? JDK or JRE? Have you restarted your computer since installing Java?

I finally got it working. Reboot didn't do it. I redownloaded the forge update three times, and the third one worked.
