Complete newbie question

Hi there everyone,

Sorry for making a new topic but I've searched via the forum and can't find any information.

I just stumbled upon Forge last night and I find the concept really promising, however there are a few simple things I can't figure out how to do.

For example:
- if I accidently tap some land for mana, how do I untap them?
- if I accidently assign a blocker, how do I unassign them?

Thanks.

Simon

In most cases, you can't do either. If you're paying for a spell, and hit cancel, all land tapped for paying that spell should reset and untap. But if you click land randomly before paying a spell, you won't be able to.

Removing blockers is not implemented yet.

thanks for your help.. I guess I just have to be a little more careful and diligent before I press anything.

About tapping lands: The mana is not lost, it is in the manapool, the object to the far left of the section where lands are played. You can put mana in there by tapping lands or other mana sources like elves or artifacts and then select a card from your hand and pay for it by clicking the manapool. Sometimes the game will ask you what color of mana you want to use, just select the color and the card will be paid/cast.

The manapool is emptied when you enter a new phase. So mana in the pool during main phase 1 is removed as you enter the combat phase. This is a good thing to remember when using lands like Tolarian Academy or Gaea's Cradle as it is easy to produce way more mana than you need with those. You cannot take the leftovers into the next phase.
