1.6.1.001 Andriod Skips 2nd Main Phase

For some reason my tablet can only successfully run 1.6.1.001, any later android versions produce a random "black screen of death" or freezes. Is there a workaround to get this version from stop skipping the post combat second main phase? or get a later version to work that doesn't do that? It worked fine for a while, right after install, and then started doing that unexpectedly.

Click onthe phase marker. If its not stopping it should be displaying in red, you want it to display in green.
