I just updated my Forge and Forge Android to the latest version.

I saw there are 18 new cards added in this version.
But not in Forge and not in Forge Android are new LQ card pics downloaded if I run the content downloader.

Is there a problem with the server that stores the LQ card pics or are the 18 new cards pics added much later?

As a Forge beginner, I'm a bit confused how exactly the new card images are downloaded using the content downloader.
If there are new cards added in a new Forge version, when are the new card images for those cards available in the content downloader?

Anybody who can explain me how this works?

It depends on when the person responsible for maintaining the download server adds the images. This is one of the reasons why I started the LQ image topic. That way people can get the images they need that Forge skips.

Isn't it better to give the LQ images directly to the person of the download server so he can upload them on the server? Then everybody can download them through Forge content downloader.
