Collectible Card Game Headquarters

Hello,

Does the "Copy from clipboard" function in Commander have a specific layout that the clipboard text needs to be in? Or do any specific notations need to be made in the list to help it process (ex "Main," "Commander," etc)?

I'm having terrible trouble pasting copied text lists for multi color decks (monocolor decks work fine). When I copy a list, about 30 cards will get on the list, but the rest will somehow end up in the "Commander" tab.

I don't see any part of that text block noting which card is your commander.

All you really need in your copy/paste is:

Commander:
Name of Commander Card

Main:
Other Cards in your deck

I tried copy and pasting a few of my commander decks on my phone (android) and they worked fine, and then tried your decklist and had the same issue you had with about 30 cards going to the main deck and the rest getting dumped into the commander section.

I tried a couple of things and I think the problem is your 'Commander's Sphere'. I took the same decklist and removed that card and it threw a few card errors (spelling/card not found... but that's pretty common with copy/paste decklists I've noticed, I almost always have a few cards I have to add manually.. in your case your commander was one of the cards it couldn't find), but otherwise worked as expected with about 80ish cards going into the main section and none of them ended up in the commander section.

I think what is happening is the 'Commander' keyword in the 'Commander's Sphere' is being parsed as the commander portion of the deck and everything after that is being dumped into the wrong section in the deck editor. Until this is fixed, I would remove any cards with the 'Commander' keyword from your text list before you copy/paste it and add those cards manually after the initial text import.

Edit: I turned off 'Use only core and expansion sets' and the entire decklist (without 'Commander's Sphere' of course) imported perfectly (99 cards in main, and your commander in the command section). So the problem is definitly the parser.
