Collectible Card Game Headquarters

I have an old version of MTG Forge (maybe a year old or more). If I want to update to the newest version "Forge 03/18 (Unofficial Beta version)" what steps do I take?

Not sure if I am supposed to completely replace the old version or not.

Also I noticed other zip files on the Forge 03/18 (Unofficial Beta version) post, "Card Pictures" and "All Rarities".

I understand what the new card picture zip is for, but what is All Rarities?

Keep the older Forge version around as a backup for the moment.

After you uncompress the new Forge 03/18 archive you can:

1) place the updated card-pictures.txt file into the \forge0318\res\ folder.

2) place the contents of the all rarity files in the \forge0318\res\ folder and also into the \forge0318\res\quest\ folder.

3) either download the Low Quality pics or the High Quality pics.

It updates the files common.txt, uncommon.txt, and rare.txt which are used to generate the booster packs for sealed, draft, and quest. When a new version of Forge is released usually Chris H. adds the new cards to common.txt, uncommon.txt, and rare.txt and calls the files "allrarities.zip".

Yeah, the "all" refers to the fact that every card has had a rarity value assigned to it.

And the date at the end refers to which beta version these rarity files are meant for.
