Recreating Shandalar in Forge?

Hello all, first of all sorry if a similar topic exists, I could not find it. Second, I understand how complicated Forge is, and recreating shandalar would be a ton of work.

That being said, was it already talked about to recreate the Shandalar gameplay and map using Forge combat system? The base game could be improved on a lot and it seems that the load of the work, creating a working mtg system and Ai, is already done.
