What can the AI do?

I'm making second topic in my continuous quest for "content downloader" for Forge. This time my question revolves against decks and AI.
I will create Forge decklist files from decks posted around the internet (mainly I'm aiming at implementing every major pro deck across the history of MtG Standard). As far as data structure goes it's a childplay.
But then I started to wonder: the AI is quite proficient with most tempo decks, aggro/spam decks and not bad with control decks. But what about combo decks? Should I even try to use decks such as Tolarian Academy, Recurring Nightmare, etc. or is it a waste of time because AI will just choke itself, while trying to play those?
