Dark Depths - legendary land that becomes a 20/20 creature with flying after 10 time counters are removed.

https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/a ... 2013-12-12

The AI doesn't seem to rate this card - when playing against any decks involving this card the AI will not search for or ever deploy this card with a card that allows you to select a card from your library like crop rotation.

I think the AI needs some kind of mechanic to realize this is a card worth playing and get it on to the battlefield if it sees it in it's deck. I tried playing against a Dark Depths based deck which would use Vampire Hexmage to remove all the counters to get this card on to the field as quickly as possible. Tried replicating it in Forge and the AI doesn't seem to want to get this card down, in fact in a deck which has a lot of blue cards for cycling cards and trying to get it into play it ends up in the graveyard a lot.

Can this be fixed?

I just tested this with a test deck in Forge . . . .

Dark Depths and Vampire Hexmage do work well - the AI plays that well.

But when playing a deck against the AI where there are cards like crop rotation (basically you are using crop rotation to get Dark Depths into play) the AI never seems to recognize this land and want to play it - it will always play things like tropical island ahead of it. Any card that allows the AI to go in and select good land - for some reason this land isn't recognised. Can this be changed at all or is that too hard to code in?

Cost reduction and hybrid mana:

Hybrid mana of the form {G/2} doesn't interact with mana reduction like I imagine it ought to.

For example, I have Herald's Horn on the battlefield set to Scarecrow and I want to cast Reaper King. I feel I ought to be able to cast him for {W} {U} {B} {R} {1} - with the Horn reducing the cost of the {G/2} to {1} if I want to pay it with colorless mana, but this doesn't seem to be the case in forge.

Is this correct behavior or a bug?

BUG

The Windows version of Forge does not allow you to view random theme decks from the constructed menu - but you can do this on the Android version. All other decks on the PC version can be viewed but not these. I take it this is a bug.

Some of the cards when you zoom in on them are smaller than some of the other cards when zoomed in - seems to be with some of the older cards - e.g the zoom doesn't work on some cards it seems inconsistent. Amazing MTG engine though whoever made this.

BUG

Rowan, Fearless Spark Mage - when using her first ability - target creature gets +3 +0 and first strike until the end of the turn - when playing this first ability she has the computer plays the ability on Rowan and does not allow you to select a target creature.

I've just updated to ver 1.6.29 and when I double click the .exe the Forge program never opens. I just reinstalled Java 8 today.

Inkfathom Witch not changing unblocked creatures to 4/1. I attacked with Bog Imp, Mist Raven, Silkbind Faerie (enchanted with Vow of Malice)and they stayed the same on their stats.

Hybrid mana is wonky in general; officially, any payment of hybrid cost should first give you a choice of all possible ways to replace hybrid symbols with normal mana, you choose one, and you pay that.

I cast the adventure part of Fae of Wishes (Granted) while a Possibility Storm was in play. Possibility Storm's effect stopped on Lovestruck Beast and let me cast it.

I believe Granted should be a sorcery on the stack and Lovestruck Beast should be a creature everywhere unless it's on the stack, being cast as Heart's Desire.

The Royal Scions should give Trample, currently they don't.

There's a system language bug that affects Forge if your system language is not English (Both PC and Android versions), try changing your system language to English.
Got another reproduction of this issue, system language is set to English. Can I supply anything to narrow this down?
