Improper Interaction Between Doom Whisperer and Graveyard

Describe the Bug:
When [Doom Whisperer] surveils cards into the graveyard, [Sidisi, Brood Tyrant] and [The Gitrog Monster] should have abilities trigger based on whether the surveiled cards are creatures or lands. At present, the cards go into the graveyard with nothing triggering as a result.

Which card behaved improperly?
At first blush, it would appear to be either [Doom Whisperer] or Surveil as a mechanic that's behaving in an unexpected manner.

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction?
Whenever a creature card is surveiled, Sidisi should create a zombie. Whenever a land card is surveiled, [The Gitrog Monster] should draw a card.

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug?
Likely any other cards that have triggers reliant on cards entering the graveyard, as well as anything else using Surveil (I've not tested this yet).
