Missing saves

Hi everyone,

I'm having an issue with Forge that I struggle to understand (and solve) and was wondering if anyone have had the same and found a solution ?

Some of my saves suddenly disappear from the Load Quest menu. When I go to the folder (...Application support/Forge/quest/saves), my two rogue saves are indeed still there, but they just don't appear anymore in the in-game selection menu.
I tried to copy-paste them somewhere else and bring them back, restart the game, but they still don't want to appear and that is just all I am able to think of as a possible solution.

All help very welcome, I spent dozen of hours building up nice decks to play with and I can not access them anymore, very frustrating.

All the best,

Adobe

PS : I really hope I haven't missed an obvious post about the same issue, just spent half an hour getting to know the forum before posting, but I am brand new here so, apologizes if it's the case.

Hi Friarsol,
I have the two faulty saves in two files :
- Name.dat.bak AND name.dat
- Name - multi.dat AND Name - multi.dat.bak
The second one is with all the spaces in between.
I don't know if it helps, don't hesitate to ask for more specifications, thanks a lot !

I am not sure that will help though, because when I create a third save, it has the same extension as the first one (a file in .dat.bak and an other in .dat).

Pitching in, might be wrong about the issue, but it sounds almost like this post here could offer the solution as well?:

I would add to make additional backups of all your "*.dat.bak" files, because those might contain your last working savegame.

Instead of renaming the .dat.bak to .dat, better rename a copy of .dat.bak, in case your install corrupts it yet again!
(In which case maybe you'd need to try a re-install. Just make sure, the backups of your .dat.baks are safe somewhere else!)

Fingers crossed!
K.
